Prophylaxis - Preventative Care

Our office recommends a regular 6-month re-care interval for the majority of our patients. This allows us to examine and evaluate the health of the teeth and surrounding tissues on a regular basis. During this treatment the hygienist removes any accumulated plaque and tartar and polishes the teeth to remove superficial stains and create a healthy oral environment. Seeing the dental team on a regular basis prevents small issues from evolving into major treatment requirements.
