Mari Southern

PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR

Mari began her career at Lukens Family Dental in 2002. She started as a dental assistant and has been in her current position of office manager since 2014. Mari keeps the office running smooth daily with her professional dental knowledge.

Patients appreciate Mari’s familiar face and personal touch she brings to our practice daily. She is happily married with two children. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends at local lakes.

Aracely Salcido

ASSISTANT LEAD

Aracely graduated from Heritage College in 2014 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She did her externship here at Lukens Family Dental and immediately knew it was a great fit. 

Aracely’s infectious laugh can be heard through the halls and she eases patients’ dental anxiety. She is bi-lingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. Aracely has been married for 26 years and has two sons. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family.

Seydi

Seydi Vela-Rojas

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Seydi has been a dental assistant for 5 years and joined our team in June 2021.

Seydi enjoys seeing patients happy with their smile once treatment is completed. She is also bi-lingual, speaks English and Spanish. Seydi is soon to marry her high school sweetheart in 2024. When not in the office, Seydi enjoys spending time with her dog, family and friends. 

Aurora

Aurora McCaffree

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Aurora joined the Lukens Family Dental team in 2022. A Wichita native, she graduated from Wichita State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Aurora enjoys educating patients and helping them achieve excellent dental health! In her free time, she enjoys reading, DIY projects, and spending time with her husband, AJ, and spoiling their dog, Rowdy.

Alyssa

Alyssa Moreno

DIRECTOR OF FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Alyssa joined the Lukens Family Dental team in 2022. Alyssa graduated from Andover Central High School in 2021 and is currently attending Butler Community College.

In her free time she enjoys traveling, hanging out with her boyfriend, George and spoiling her two dogs, Lennox and Ernie.

Kayla

Kayla Kucharski

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Kayla has been a dental hygienist for 17 years, graduating from Wichita State University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She began her career at Lukens Family Dental in 2021 and is committed to providing her patients optimal oral hygiene as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. 

When she is not at work, Kayla spends time with her husband, Michael, and two children, Lillian and Liam.  She enjoys the outdoors, sports, and physical fitness.
